What says Dutch more than a windmill? Well, maybe wooden clogs, but I don't think my boys' whittling chips in Cub Scouts has them quite prepared to make a clog as their Belgium/Netherlands craft. So, windmill it is!
This turned out to be a fairly easy craft. Likely it would have been better to add a pin to hold the blades of the windmill on so that they could actually spin. Short of that, though, you only need a toilet paper roll, draw or paint a door onto it, and then cut out and paste the windmill blades near the top of the roll above your door.
Bam, you'll be sprekenzie Flemish in no time with your very own windmill!
