This past weekend’s outing, we went to see children’s musician, Justin Roberts and the Not Ready for Naptime Players, live in concert. The band was great, fun, and witty. They were sure to keep the kids active and into it during each song, giving the audience things to do such as making a rhino horn with your hand on your nose while they sang about rhinos. They also made jokes including a number of jokes with puppets! Needless to say the kids were having a blast. But, the adults were digging it too. These aren’t songs you’d here from Barney! The songs are upbeat, fun, and funny.
They played a number of our favorite songs, but didn’t get to some of our absolute favorites. Apparently, FYI, you can email the band prior to a concert to make requests that they will then include in the show.
