I painted my boys like Box Trolls. Green paint leftover from Halloween plus two computer boxes equals lots of fun. I cut holes for legs, arms, and heads in the boxes and slid them onto my green children. They danced around and had a blast, mimicking the characters from the box troll movies.
After the fun, my wife washed them. When I went to get one of my sons, Eli, out of the tub, my wife said, "I guess it's ok to get him out, but I haven't washed his butt yet." My other son, Luke, said, "you know why that's ok? Because daddy didn't paint our butts."
