Hand Print Crafts
Handprint in Plaster
You can usually buy these in kits. They make a wonderful keepsake.
Family Hands
Hand print art to include the whole family. This one doesn't just commemorate the kids hands but yours as well.
Beach Crabs
Use hand prints to make red crabs, then glue sand along the bottom of the picture to make a "beach". Add some googly eyes to the crabs for fun.
Handprints in Paint
Leave a hand print in paint on a piece of rustic furniture, like a bench. Even better, have the kids sign their name below the hand print. You may have to sign it for them ... if they haven't mastered neat handwriting...or writing at all.
Handprint Bookmarks
Trace out your kid's arm, from elbow to fingers. Cut that out in construction paper. Have your child decorate their "arm" and you have an instant bookmark you'll cherish forever. We laminated ours to keep them protected.
Handprint Wreaths
Do green handprints, cut them out and paste them in a circle. Add a red bow, and you have a Christmas wreath.
