Biloxi
There are plenty of casinos in Biloxi. Beau Rivage, Grand Casino, and Hard Rock Hotel & Casino are just a few. Don't just go to Biloxi to gamble though, you're right at the beach. Soak up the sun! Just keep in mind, if you're not familiar with the Gulf of Mexico, there are basically no waves, and you'll be going quite far out to get any depth. It's the beach, though, so it's both fun, relaxing, and beautiful.
Clarksdale
This is an important town for the Blues. The Delta Blues Museum is here. Why? Because it's the home of the Crossroads, where Robert Johnson supposedly sold his soul to the devil to become the greatest blues player the world has ever seen. In that day, it would've been a dirt crossroad...today, however, it's at the corner of Highway 61 and Highway 49, paved, and not in a really nice or safe looking area of town. So, take your pic, and keep it moving.
Nearby to the crossroads and next to the Delta Blues Museum is the Ground Zero Blues Club. The club, co-owned by Morgan Freeman, was once a cotton grading warehouse in the early 1900s and is considered one of the top 100 bars and clubs in America and known for its live blues performances and great southern food. Kids aren't allowed in at night though, so when we went with our boys, we could only listen to the wonderful music while sitting out on the porch in the old couches and chairs they have out there which really gives the place the old southern blues joint feel.
Tupelo
From the birthplace of the blues to the birthplace of the King of Rock n Roll. Elvis Presley was born in Tupelo. Elvis' Birthplace has his childhood home, his childhood church, a statue of Elvis at 13 years old, a memorial to him, and a museum and gift shop. The shotgun house was bought for less that $200.
